Variations

If you are looking to add any Licensable Activity or extend the hours of existing Licensable Activities to your existing Premises Licence then you will need to make a Variation application. This application is much similar to a new application and care must be taken to ensure that the application is correct. In most cases we recommend an application for a new Premises Licence rather than a variation.

Licensable Activities are:

• The sale of alcohol by retail

• The supply of alcohol in club premises

• The provision of late-night refreshment

  • Required for the supply of hot food or hot drink to members of the public between 11.00pm and 5.00am

• The provision of Regulated Entertainment. The Regulated Entertainments are:

  • Performance of a play

  • Exhibition of a film

  • Indoor Sporting Event

  • Boxing or Wrestling entertainment

  • Performances of live music (and similar)

  • Playing of recorded music (and similar)

  • Performance of Dance (and similar)

  • Provision of facilities for making music and dancing and similar
